Actor, Charles Okocha (Igwe 2Pac), will be joined by other entertainers such as Rosemary Afuwape, Adunni Ade and Bryan Emmanuel, as mentors for the ‘Idea Challenge’
The challenge is organised by the Nigeria Billionaires Brand Summit, headed by Noble Oluchukwu, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Noble and Gold Consulting.
At a media parley during the week, Oluchukwu noted that the challenge was initiated ‘to drive the economic movement of hope for Nigeria’. He added that 10 areas of the economy were captured.
He also stated that the challenge was commencing with the entertainment industry in a bid to bridge the gap between mentors, investors and initiators of business ideas.
Describing how the challenge works, Oluchukwu said, “Systems have been put in place to ensure that Nigeria’s human capital is well harnessed. Initiators will pitch their business ideas to mentors, who will then polish them. Afterwards, they will communicate the values to investors, to guarantee return on their investments.”
He added that the challenge will run for three months— November 15, 2022, to February 15, 2023. He also encouraged Nigerians with fantastic business ideas to fine-tune them before pitching them to investors.
Investors on the platform include Ejakpovi Vinyeze, Henry Nwaneti, and Temple Chinonyerem.
