It is exactly a year old that a young Journalist and Entrepreneur, Comr. Oluwaseun Ogunniyi narrowly escaped been kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen in his hometown along Ute Igboruwen (Operese) to Molege junction at about 3:30pm While traveling along with a political Icon Dr. Jide Owoka shortly after the 23rd February 2019 Presidential Election. Oluwaseun sustain with injury in his escape.
Comr. Oluwaseun has shown full optimism to work towards National Development regardless the hostilities. “No one is safe, even a man under the roof of his comfort zone can be a victim of insecurity. If we decide to turn back, Nigeria will remain the same even worse than before” said Oluwaseun Ogunniyi in his conversation with newsmen over the issue of insecurity.
Oluwaseun explained that insecurity is a great threat to National Development. “take for instance, no investors will love to have an establishment where his/her establishment will be demolished over the night… this really affects development of a nation, we are not going back we shall do all our possible best to change our Nation”.
Oluwaseun further encouraged Nigerians to embrace peace and unity and at all time to be security conscious.
He added that Nigerians should join him in thanking God as no calamity was recorded during the incident. “ We are going somewhere, the vision is clear, Nigeria is ours, I besiege Nigerians to join me in thanking God for his divine mercy and intervention as we didn’t record any calamity during the incident…”
