"NO HIDING PLACE FOR KIDNAPERS IN ONDO STATE", SAYS SSA TO THE GOVERNOR ON SECURITY MATTERS

The Senior special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Security Matters, Hon(Alh.) Jimoh Dojumon has expressed the State government readiness to ensure kidnapers have no hiding place in all the local government areas in the State.

Hon. Dojumon, disclosed this while speaking yesterday at Owo during a Stakeholders Security and Emergency Meeting, held at the Owo Local government Secretariat, maintained that Ondo State would not accommodate any act of kidnapping and other Social Verse.

However, Jimoh affirmed that, the series of kidnapping that are ravaging in some part of State with investigation and the arrest made by the Security agencies shows that kidnapping are cause by Fulani’s,

He advised People of the area to give adequate information to the Security agencies and not to hide any perpetrators.

Meanwhile, there was a resolution communique reached with the Stakeholders, which comprises Hausa Fulani, Egbira farmers, indigenes,and non indigenes.

The Security agencies agreed to work together to ensure kidnapers have no hiding place in the State.

Earlier in his Welcome address, the Caretaker Chairman of Owo Local government, Hon.Adebayo Oke Benjamin, urged the Security agencies to be alined with their responsibility, Saying Council would ensure adequate support for the agencies.

The meeting was attended by Some Council Traditional rulers, Ojomuluda of Ijebu Owo, the Oniyere of Iyere Owo, the Elemure of emure -ile,the Oloba of Uso, and High Chief Elerewe Tunde Ilori represented Kabeyesi Olowo of Owo kingdom

Others are all the Security agencies in the Council Area, the CAN Chairman Owo local government, Prophet Olowoponranku, all the Iyaloja’s, Representative of Okada riders and many others.
